The breakfast buffet had a decent selection, giving me a good start to the day. I appreciated the swimming pool access for a bit of relaxation after exploring.
Unfortunately, there was a noticeable sewer smell drifting through the common areas, which was a bit off-putting. The thermostat in the room was disabled, making it difficult to regulate temperature. I had to rely on opening the window, which was noisy due to the traffic outside. I found the parking fees to be steep at €13 a night. Lastly, the WiFi was inconsistent, which was frustrating when trying to get work done after a day of sightseeing.

the mercure had very clean rooms and friendly staff that made us feel welcome. we particularly enjoyed the generous breakfast, which offered fresh and local options. our dog was treated to some goodies, which was a sweet touch. the inner garden with a pool seems like a nice spot for summer.

The bathroom layout may be inconvenient for taller guests, especially with a slight step in the shower. While the wifi worked well, the lack of Netflix on the smart TV could be improved.

This place was just a great fit for a short visit in Aachen with good price-value balance. The room was very clean, and the friendly reception staff made checking in easy and pleasant. Definitely walk to the aachener Dom, it’s only a short distance away.

The room was exceptionally clean. The staff were attentive and always friendly, which added a nice touch to my experience. I also appreciated the lovely garden view, which was relaxing and enjoyable. The breakfast selection was generous, providing both variety and quality.
There was a noticeable odor in the entrance that detracted from the overall experience.
